Construction of the Yong-Tang-Qing Branch of the Second West-East Gas Pipeline begins

On February 26, CNPC started construction of the Yong-Tang-Qing Branch of the Second West-East Gas Pipeline in Tianjin.

The 320km-long branch, which has a designed annual deliverability of 9 billion cubic meters, extends from Yongqing County to Lulong County in Hebei Province, and also passes through several counties in Tianjin. The branch will introduce natural gas from the Northeast pipeline network and imported LNG into the Huabei pipeline network to improve the reliability of gas supplies to Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei Province.
